Place your silver earrings directly on the aluminum foil. It is perfectly acceptable to clean more then one pair of earrings at a time if you wish.
Cover the earrings with the hottest tap water that you have available. You want to make sure that the earrings are completely covered with hot water.
Sprinkle your baking soda on top of the hot water until you see a chemical reaction begin to occur on your silver earrings.
Let the earrings set in the solution for a full hour.
