How to Make Crock-pot Chicken

When you return home at the end of the long day, the last thing you want to do is make dinner. With a simple crock-pot meal, you can have a wonderful chicken dinner waiting when you walk in the door.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 whole chicken with the skin removed (a 3 to 5 lb. chicken work the best.
  • 1/2 cup of chicken stock
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  1. Step 1

    Remove the skin from the chicken if you have not purchased a skinless chicken.

  2. Step 2

    Remove any excess moisture from the outside of the chicken using a paper towel.

  3. Step 3

    Place the chicken in the crock-pot with the breast side down.

  4. Step 4

    Turn the crock-pot onto its lowest setting

  5. Step 5

    Combine chicken stock, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, fresh garlic, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.

  6. Step 6

    Pour mixture over the chicken evenly.

  7. Step 7

    Cover the chicken and allow to cook for 8 hours on low

  • Depending on the size of the chicken you may need to adjust your ingredients accordingly.
