How to Make Roasted Vegetables

Roasted vegetables are a delectable appetizer for a barbecue, or they also make a perfect side dish to a tofu or meat dish. They are meant to be enjoyed fresh from the oven, and you can choose any favorite spice of yours to add to the recipe. Making roasted vegetables is a great way to start cooking for a beginning cook. Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Large Mixing Bowl
  • Large Roasting Pan
  • 10 Carrots
  • 10 Zucchini
  • 2 cups Broccoli
  • 2 cups Green Beans
  • 20 Cherry Tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp. Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • Pinch of Rosemary
  1. Step 1

    Peel carrots and prep all your vegetables for cooking.

  2. Step 2

    Pour all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl.

  3. Step 3

    Mix all the vegetables and seasonings together. Put a plate over the bowl, and toss thoroughly, keeping a tight hold on your plate and bowl.

  4. Step 4

    Pour the mixed vegetables into a large roasting pan.

  5. Step 5

    Roast the vegetables while stirring. Taste test occasionally. You want to cook until thoroughly done. This will usually take about ten minutes, but it can take longer.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be sure to prepare roasted vegetables close to party time, but allow half an hour for the whole process.
  • Don't add your own ingredients until you have tasted your roasted vegetables the first time. You'll get an idea of the taste, and you can add your own flair the next time you make the vegetables.
