Nothing tastes better than a grilled burger in the summer. Now you can achieve a similar taste year-round, but have less fat, by using ground turkey instead of ground beef, and a George Foreman grill inside your kitchen.

  • Ground turkey
  • Hamburger buns
  • Favorite condiments

Cook a Turkey Burger in a George Foreman Grill

  • Preheat your George Foreman grill by plugging it in.

  • Remove the ground turkey from the package and put it in a bowl.

  • Add your favorite seasonings to the ground meat.

  • Mold the ground meat mixture into patties, about 1/3 to 1/2 cup per patty.

  • Set one or two patties on the bottom part of the grill and close the lid to cook both sides at once.

  • Fully cook the meat. It will be a light brown on both sides and no longer pink in the middle.

  • Remove from the grill to a hamburger bun. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!

  • Unplug the grill. Clean your George Foreman grill by using a wet paper towel to wipe off the grease.

Tips & Warnings

  • Make a thicker burger by adding bread crumbs and/or a raw egg.
  • Keep a moist middle by adding small ice cubes to the middle of the patty.
  • Fully cook the meat to avoid any food-borne illnesses.
