The bowls should be made of lead-free, dishwasher-safe ceramic. Each bowl has a ceramic “volcano” in the center with a slight depression, which you will fill with 151 proof rum or other high-proof alcohol and set the drink alight for a flaming presentation.

Tiki bowls vary in size, so measure your bowl first by filling it to 1 inch below the brim, pour the water into a measuring cup and note the number of ounces that the bowl will hold. This should be the amount of your final tiki drink recipe You may need to adjust your tropical drink recipes accordingly.
