How to Cook Pork Tenderloin in a Crock Pot
Are you looking for a delicious pork tenderloin recipe that is healthy for your family? Don't think you have time to cook a full meal? You can do it with the help of the crock pot, also known as the slow cooker. You just take a few minutes in the morning to assemble the dish and then you set it and forget it. When you get home from work, all you have to do is dish it out to your family.
Things You'll Need
- 3 lbs. pork tenderloin
- 4 small potatoes peeled and chopped in to cubes
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 stalks of celery chopped in to bite sized chunks
- 2 large carrots peeled and diced
- 1 cup of tomato juice
- 1 package of onion soup mix
- 2 cups of water
- 1 tsp of parsley flakes
- Crock pot
- Cup

Prepare your veggies as instructed. Add them one by one to the bottom of the crock pot.

Place the pork tenderloin on top of the veggies.

Combine the water, tomato juice and the onion soup mix in a cup. Mix well and then pour in the crock pot all over the pork tenderloins and the veggies.

Top with parsley flakes and cook on low 10 hours.

Dish out and serve at dinner time.

Tips & Warnings
A lot of people really like bacon in their pork tenderloin. Cook the bacon separately in a frying pan and add at the last minute.
Cooking on high will decrease the time it takes to cook the pork tenderloin, but it can make your pork tenderloin taste too dry. It's best to stick with cooking it on low.
