Seafood dishes are high in important dietary vitamins and minerals and an easy way to make dinner seem a little more special. They add color and flavor to any table. However, many seafood dishes also take much longer to prepare than traditional "meat and potatoes" dishes, which makes them hard to whip up on the spot if you have unexpected guests. In this article, we will discuss how to make a quick seafood pasta dish. This dish takes under 20 minutes to prepare.
Hold the pasta carefully in the water for a few seconds to allow it to become more flexible.
Add the pasta to the pot and boil for 10 minutes. Do not break the pasta when you place it in the pot. Let it bend as it warms in the water.
Many people leave the tails on the shrimp so that they may be eaten with fingers or forks.
Add the mushrooms, tomatoes and onions. Continue stirring all the ingredients together. If you wish to also add more butter at this point, do so. The onions will become transparent as they cook.
A low, flat serving bowl like this one is perfect for this seafood dish.
Place the spaghetti in the serving bowl.If the pasta fills the bowl more than 2/3 full, hold some of it back.
