How to Clean Leather with Oil
We all love leather because it is very soft and beautiful to look at. I am going to give you tips on cleaning your leather with Murphy's oil soap. This will give it a beautiful look every time. Does this Spark an idea?

If your leather is a clothing item, hang it up so you can properly inspect it for dirt and debris. If it is a larger leather item then spread it out or bring it into an area where you have room to clean it.

Mix 1/4 cup Murphys oil soap to 5 cups of water in the container you have available.

Take one of the cloths and submerge in solution. Make sure to ring out excess water--you want the rag damp not wet.

Pick an area to start and clean in sections, using a circular motion and gently pressing on the leather.

After cleaning a medium-sized area of the leather take the dry cloth and gently buff dry, using the same circular motion.

Repeat this process until your leather is clean.

Tips & Warnings
For stains that will not come out take your leather item to a professional.
Do not use this technique on suede. Suede should be dry-cleaned only.
