Instructions

    • 1

Gather up several dozen maple seeds--commonly known as 'whirlygigs' for how they fall, helicopter-like, to the ground. Dry them well.

    • 2

Hold the propeller, or body, of a whirlygig in each hand, over a clean white paper or cloth.

    • 3

Rub the seed pods together, to loosen all the tiny slivers of hair that coat the pod.

    • 4

Repeat this process with several seeds until you accumulate a teaspoon of fine slivers.

    • 5

Store this powder in a tight, spill-proof container, and secure it in a safe location.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do not use this itching powder anywhere near the eyes or other sensitive regions. Furthermore, do not use this itching powder excessively, or in a malicious or hurtful fashion.
