How to Dress Like Scooby Doo Characters
The Scooby Doo gang (also known as "Mystery Inc.") are among the most recognizable cartoon characters of all time. One of the best ways to draw attention at the next costume party will be to get three of your friends to show up with you dressed as Fred, Shaggy, Daphne and Velma.

Slip a white sweatshirt over any blue shirt with a collar (polo or dress). Tie an orange ascot around the neck.

Include dark blue pants (very dark blue jeans can work) and brown loafer-style shoes.

Bleach your hair blond and cut it to above your ears. (Of course, a wig of this color will work as well.)

Select a plain green T-shirt. V-neck style would be best.

Add a pair of brown pants (like khakis) and any type of black shoes. This is easily the simplest of all the costumes.

Grow your hair out to neck length and grow a scruffy chin beard. If you need a real-life person to model after, try basketball player Dirk Nowitski. (Buying a wig may be easier for you than growing out your hair.)
Daphne

Start with a basic purple dress with long sleeves and a short skirt. Add a lime green scarf around the neck.

Wear purple pump shoes with purple or lavender pantyhose.

Get a bright red, shoulder length wig if your hair isn't this color or length. Tie the hair back with a pink hairband.
Velma

Begin with a large, orange turtleneck sweater. Accentuate it with a brown skirt cut above the knees.

Dress your feet in brown saddle shoes with knee-high orange socks.

Do your hair in a 1960s bob style, especially if it's dark brown. Wear thick horn-rimmed glasses.

Tips & Warnings
The final addition to your costumed group would be a plush Scooby Doo doll. Shaggy would be the best person to carry it, since Scooby has always unofficially been his dog.
