How to Make a Tea Cup Candle

If you have mismatched pieces of china, or find charming tea cups at a thrift store or yard sale, don't just hide them away in a cupboard. Instead, follow these simple steps to make your beautiful spare tea cups into adorable candles.

Things You'll Need

• Tea cup
• Beeswax
• Wick
• Skewer

Instructions

1. Lay the skewer across the tea cup.

2. Wrap the wick around the skewer and hang it into the tea cup.

3. Break up the beeswax and place it into a clean, used soup can. Place the soup can into a shallow pan of water and heat until the wax is melted.

4. Add scented oil to the melted wax, if desired. Pour the melted beeswax into the tea cup and allow to harden.

5. Pour a second layer of melted beeswax into the tea cup so that the top settles flat.
