1
Tape a letter stencil to the wall where you wish for the word to begin. Use a sharp pencil to lightly trace the inner perimeter of the stencil and transfer the letter to the wall.
-
2
Trace one letter at a time, taping each individual stencil up and carefully drawing the letter on the wall before moving on to the next.
-
-
3
Dip a small paintbrush into some interior paint in the color of your choice. Wipe excess paint off on the side of the can to prevent dripping.
-
4
Glide the brush across the wall inside the penciled outline of each letter. Use strong, long strokes to keep the edges of the letters clean and professional.
-
5
Allow the letters to dry completely. If the shade of the paint isn't as intense as you'd like, go over the letters with a second coat of paint.
