How to Make a Coke Glass Flower Arrangement
A Coke glass flower arrangement makes a lovely little centerpiece. They are guaranteed be a conversation piece at a gathering of any age group, but are very well suited for kids parties and teen get-togethers. Use them as centerpieces, or make one for each guest to take home when the party's over. Once the flowers wilt, the glasses are perfectly usable.
Things You'll Need
- Coke glass
- 3 or 4 white and/or red carnations
- Red food coloring
- Floral shredded plastic, clear
- 2 flexible drinking straws
- Plastic cherry

Put a bit of clear shredded plastic in each glass to give the carnations a bit of support.

In a separate bowl, mix some fresh water with a drop or two of red food coloring.

Pour the colored water into the coke glass.

Trim the stems on three or four red and white carnations so they extend just past the top of the coke glass.

Poke the carnations into the shredded plastic, and arrange them so they look like they're sitting on top of the coke glass. They should look like the top of a frothy milk shake or strawberry float.

Insert two flexible drinking straws into opposite sides of the arrangement, and bend the straws to a slight angle.

Add a plastic cherry to the top of the coke glass flower arrangement.

Tips & Warnings
Tie a piece of colorful ribbon around the middle of the coke glass for an added decorative element. Match the ribbon to the carnations.
