Instructions

    • 1

Combine 1 part rice starch and 2 parts sodium bicarbonate in a mixing bowl.

    • 2

Mix in a natural vegetable oil of your choice, such as safflower oil or olive oil, in small amounts, stirring well after each addition, until you reach a consistency you like.

    • 3

Add a few drops of tomato leaf essential oil. Use essential oils sparingly, as their fragrances and properties are extremely strong.

    • 4

Spoon the Tomato Deodorant Cream into one or more recyclable jars, preferably glass, and make sure their lids are tight. Make a homemade label for each jar.

    • 5

Use Tomato Deodorant Cream by rubbing a small amount into the skin each day after a bath or shower. Allow the cream to dry before you dress.

Tips & Warnings

  • For variety, try different vegetable and essential oils in your homemade deodorant cream.

  • While allergic reactions are less likely with all-natural ingredients, stay on the safe side and patch test your skin. Dab a very small amount of Tomato Deodorant Cream on the inside of your arm near your elbow and wait 24 hours for a reaction.
