How to Make a Fake Spill. If you are a trickster who enjoys pulling pranks, learning the art of a fake spill is another stunt to add to your grab bag. The following steps will show you how to make an impressive fake spill.
Step 1
Pick a spill to fake. Choices may include tea, coke, water or milk. If you really want to freak someone out, make a fake puddle of blood.

Collect props to make your spill look real. For the liquids, put a glass on its side next to the spill. If you choose the puddle of blood, place a knife in or next to it.
Step 3
Cut a piece of wax paper in the shape of the spill. Mix paint to match the color of the spill with glue until it becomes sticky. Place this mixture on the wax paper.
Step 4
Put the spill in an area where your targeted victim will see it immediately. Choose a spot where the spill may be "disastrous," such as on a desk with important documents, on a piano, or on an antique table.
Step 5
Sit back and watch the fun begin. Try different spills with different audiences.
