Step 1
Plan a party and make sure everyone is invited. Friends, family and acquaintances should all be around to celebrate your 25th wedding anniversary with you.
-
Step 2
Renew your vows. You have come a long way, and now is a good time to take your vows again. You can have a simple ceremony where you just renew your vows to each other at your home or you can have a big church wedding again or anything in between. The important thing is to remember why you made it through 25 years.
-
Step 3
Go to dinner at a romantic restaurant--you can celebrate on your own. Although others may be disappointed, this is your day--plan what you want.
-
Step 4
Take a second honeymoon. It's possible you weren't able to have the honeymoon you really wanted at the time you were married because you couldn't afford it--what better time to take it then on your 25th wedding anniversary.
-
Step 5
Combine the steps above to make your 25th wedding anniversary truly memorable. Have a party either before or after the date, renew your vows on the date, have dinner on your own around the date and plan that second honeymoon for after the date. You can and should have it all.

on 8/4/2008 I got an anniversary gift from my husband which I can never forget. Without telling me, he got a bunch of pictures from our dating days and got a beautiful video made from them. It was perfectly synchronized to music and because it was professionally made, the results were awesome! It was so romantic and touching, both of us cried for a while watching our 'good-old-fun-days' come alive on the screen!! We then played the video in a get-together we had with close friends and relatives. He got the DVD done at http://www.smilingsnaps.com and I think it wasn't expensive either, considering that everything was custom-made.
