Once you have gathered information about the calendars submit your event as often as you can. Service listings and calendars update at different times, some do daily, as some weekly. The more you post, the better your response.

Pitch your event to the media. When you are speaking to writers at different magazines, television shows, radio shows and websites be certain to provide them with the details of your event. It is effective to provide writers with a press release, feature story, or media advisory. Writers can then place info about your event at their discretion.

Develop in-kind partnerships with different outlets. You can simply create banner ads for outlets to place on their website in exchange for tickets to your event. Some outlets may choose to even place stories about your event. Either way, you will be on a roll.
