How to Host A Makeup Party For Preteens
Preteen girls often love playing with makeup and learning how to apply it. Whether or not they are already regularly wearing makeup, hosting a party with a makeup theme is likely to be a hit. Choose invitations that will fill your guests in on the party's theme from the very beginning. For example, select round or square invitations that will look like a compact. When the guest flips open the top of the invitation, the inside of the card will contain the party information.

Set up areas in your home for the preteens to have their makeup applied. Place bar stools around your counter to create an area where they can all watch each other having their makeup done. Assemble makeup sets to be used at each station, such as powder, eye shadow, mascara, lip gloss and blush. Hire professional makeup artists to apply the makeup, or simply enlist a group of your friends to do it.

Serve a cake that is inspired by makeup. For example, choose a cake shaped like a pair of bright pink lips or a tube of lipstick.
