How to Freeze Fresh Green Beans

Freezing fresh green beans is simple and they taste great in winter.

• Gallon size freezer/ziplock bags
• Green beans
• Measuring cup
• Large cooking pot
• Water

How to Freeze Fresh Green Beans

1. Remove the strings from the beans and any bug bites.
2. Break up beans.
3. Wash at least twice to remove dirt.
4. Place in cooking pot and cover with water.
5. Cook beans until they are half done.
6. Allow beans to cool.
7. Measure into the bags the serving size you desire.
8. Place in feezer until you get ready to eat them, then place the beans in a cooking pot, add oil and salt to taste and finish cooking.
