Freezing fresh green beans is simple and they taste great in winter.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Gallon size freezer/ziplock bags
  • Green beans
  • Measuring cup
  • Large cooking pot
  • Water

    How to Freeze Fresh Green Beans

  1. Step 1

    Remove the strings from the beans and any bug bites.

  2. Step 2

    Break up beans.

  3. Step 3

    Wash at least twice to remove dirt.

  4. Step 4

    Place in cooking pot and cover with water.

  5. Step 5

    Cook beans until they are half done.

  6. Step 6

    Allow beans to cool.

  7. Step 7

    Measure into the bags the serving size you desire.

  8. Step 8

    Place in feezer until you get ready to eat them, then place the beans in a cooking pot, add oil and salt to taste and finish cooking.
