1
Examine the shower head to see if the holes are clogged. Using a toothpick get as much of the clog out as possible. To further clean out the holes, soak the shower head in vinegar.
-
2
Unscrew the shower head from the wall and submerge it in a deep bowl or bucket of vinegar.
-
-
3
Fill a heavy duty plastic bag with white vinegar if the head is difficult to unscrew. Use enough vinegar so the head is submerged. Fasten the bag on with a rubber band or large twist tie so it will be secure for several hours.
-
4
Keep the bag on the shower head all day or overnight. The vinegar dissolves the mineral deposits, thus opening the holes allowing for more water to pass through them.
-
5
Remove the bag and run the shower until the water comes out full force.

I have a question. My shower head is a plastic one. Will submerging it in vinegar destroy it? Those of you who know please let me know. Thanks!!! -

You can also warm up the vinegar for a minute in the microwave & use it.It speeds up the process. -
