Things You'll Need:

  • saucpan
  • baking dish
  • 3-4 chicken breasts, cooked
  • 2 cups spinach, cooked, drained and chopped
  • 1 cup mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 8 manicotti noodles, cooked according to package directions
  1. Step 1

    The first step to cooking chicken manicotti with this recipe is to coarsely chop the chicken.

  2. Step 2

    The next step in cooking chicken manicotti with this recipe is to mix chicken, spinach, mushrooms, and onion together and stuff in manicotti noodles. Cover with sauce (sauce recipe follows in step 4).

  3. Step 3

    Sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and bake @ 350* until cheese
    is melted and manicotti is heated through, about 20 to 25 minutes.

  4. Step 4

    Sauce recipe: Melt butter in saucpan. Add flour. Stir into smooth paste. Add milk. Stir and cook for 10 minutes. Add salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Remove from heat and stir in egg yolks and cheese rapidly.

  5. Step 5
