How to Make Greek Chicken in a Crock Pot

Greek chicken is a snap to make in a crock pot. This recipe combines chicken, potatoes, onions, oregano and other seasonings for a fantastic slow-cooked meal. This recipe makes 4 to 6 servings.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 to 3 lbs. of chicken pieces
  • 4 to 6 potatoes
  • 2 large onions
  • Minced garlic, to taste
  • 3 tsp. of dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. of salt
  • 1 tbsp. of olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. of pepper
  • 4-1/2 quart crock pot
  1. Step 1

    Cut up the potatoes into quarters and place in the bottom of the crock pot.

  2. Step 2

    Add chicken pieces.

  3. Step 3

    Cut up onions into quarters and add to the crock pot.

  4. Step 4

    Add garlic.

  5. Step 5

    Top with the rest of the seasonings and the olive oil.

  6. Step 6

    Cover and cook on high for 5 to 6 hours or on low for 9 to 10 hours.

Tips & Warnings
  • Serve with warm, soft dinner rolls to soak up the seasonings.
  • Add a green salad to complete the meal.
