3. Have plenty of time if you go to the store. You'll want to browse Lowe's large selection.

4. Pick up a sale flier at the front door if you haven't already seen one.

5. Browse for the items you want.

6. Ask for help if you need it. Most Lowe's employees are helpful and knowledgeable. Ensure you get help with large, heavy or bulky items and items that are on the top shelf.

7. Be prepared to pay with a check, credit or debit card, or apply for Lowe's credit. Have photo identification with you.
