WRITING IN YOUR DIARY. WRITING IN YOUR DIARY.

Diaries can be fun as well as helpful, I sometimes feel better after writing in mine, you can tell your diary just about anything. I make writing in my diary a part of my daily routine, if I have nothing to say one day, that's what I write in it and then draw something, anything.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • A diary.
  • Ink pen, I like useing different colors in my diary.

Step1
New diary. Start your diary at the beginning of the year. I look for a pretty nice diary, one that feels good to the touch, like maybe one with a leather cover.
Step2
Write in your diary daily. Try to write in it daily, what you did today, how work went, how your Dr. appointment. went, just about anything can go in your diary. Your diary can actually come in handy for you, like if you need to know something, but can't remember, just check your diary. It might be there.
Step3
Doodle or put things in your diary. Even if nothing happened today write in it anyway, say something like, what a boring day, then doodle something there, like a face, flower, etc.. I sometimes will put something on that page, like a flower, leaf, piece of ribbon, a photo, etc..
Step4
Be careful of things you write in your diary. If you have a secret, memory or anything that you don't want ANYONE to EVER find out, don't put it in your diary because someone, someday will eventually read your diary. Maybe you know that your diary is safe and no one will read it, but one day we will no longer be here and that's when someone will read it.

Tips & Warnings

  • Always put the date and time when logging in your diary, it just might come in handy someday.
  • Write in your diary daily and it will eventually become a habit.
  • Keep secrets in your heart and mind, not in your diary. Unless it's something that won't hurt someone later. Or if it's something you want someone to know about after your gone, then write it in your diary.

on 12/16/2007 Very nice and inspiring article! I have always started a diary and I gave up. I like each step of yours: I will start with the New Year! I even started already:) It helped me a lot: life matters more and I enjoy to check what we have done three days ago:)

on 12/6/2007 I liked the idea if you forget which day you did something that it just might be in there. I keep a log each day and I never thought to look back over it for things like this. Very Helpful!
