How to Make a Tuna Sandwich

Tuna Sandwiches are great for lunches and tuna has many health benefits and is a good source of protein, vitamins and minerals. Tuna also contains omega-3 fatty acids which are known to lower the risk of heart disease.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 slices whole wheat bread
  • 1 can tuna
  • 3 tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. mustard
  • 1 stalk celery finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp. finely chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp. pickle relish
  • 1 leaf of lettuce

    Tuna Sandwich

  1. Step 1

    Lay bread slices on clean dry surface.

  2. Step 2

    Open can of tuna. Drain and discard juice. Empty tuna into a small bowl.

  3. Step 3

    Add mayonnaise, mustard, celery, onion and pickle relish to tuna. Mix well.

  4. Step 4

    Spread tuna mixture on one of the bread slices.

  5. Step 5

    Place the lettuce on top of the tuna mixture.

  6. Step 6

    Put the second slice of bread on top of the lettuce to form a tuna sandwich.
