If you like grilled chicken with a hint of ginger and garlic, this recipe may be for you. The brown sugar provides sweetness to offset the tart flavor of the mustard. Read this article to learn a great chicken recipe.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • 1 lb. split chicken breast 1 tsp. ground black pepper 1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1 tbs. Brown sugar 1 tsp. ground oregano 1 1/2 tsp. paprika 2 tsp. ginger 1/2 teaspoon allspice 1 tsp. dry mustar

Step1
Mix all ingredients well, making sure the sugar is not lumpy. The rub is now ready to be rubbed onto the chicken. If you do not mind the bones, split chicken breast if very good with this rub.
Step2
Trim excess fat but leave the skin. Pull skin back from the breast and rub the mixture into the chicken. Place skin in original position and rub mixture onto bony side of the breast. The chicken can be grilled immediately or wrapped with plastic wrap and refrigerated for use within 24 hours.
Step3
Store leftover mixture in an airtight jar in a dark cupboard.
