Instructions

    • 1

Set your iron on the lowest heat setting available.

    • 2

Place a towel on top of the tulle so that you will not burn your dress.

    • 3

Move quickly so that the iron does not sit in one place for too long, which will cause melting, or worse, burning of your beautiful tulle prom dress.

    • 4

Use the steam feature on your iron. With the towel placed on top of your dress, hit the button on your iron for steam. Remove the iron and the towel to make sure the wrinkles are coming out and you are not damaging your dress.

Tips & Warnings

  • Hang your dress in the bathroom and run the hot water. The steam will help pull some of the wrinkles out, but you may still have to iron it.

  • If your iron does not have a steam setting, use a very damp towel over the tulle. This will create steam, having the same effect as a steam setting on an iron.

  • Don't attempt to iron tulle if you have little experience with irons. This is a sure way to ruin your dress. Instead, ask someone for help.

  • Never allow the iron to touch the tulle directly.
