Instructions

    • 1

Place casseroles and baking dishes on baking sheets in the oven. Any sauces that bubble over won't spill on the inside of the oven and can be easily cleaned when you wash your dishes.

    • 2

Line the bottom of the oven with aluminum foil. Minor spills can be quickly wiped clean. If a major spill occurs, you can replace the foil and have an instantly clean oven.

    • 3

Wipe spills immediately. If something spills in the oven, wait until it cools completely, spray the inside with water and wipe it clean. Add one part all natural dish soap to nine parts water for greasy spills.

Coat stubborn messes with a thick paste made of baking soda and water. Allow the mixture to stand overnight, and then scrub off the paste with a sturdy scrub brush or scouring pad. Wear gloves while you scrub this clean to protect your hands.

Use your oven's self-cleaning function. The oven heats to 900 degrees and burns away any remaining spills or food particles. Wipe the remaining residue once the oven has completely cooled.
