Instructions

  1. Decorating

    • 1

Select a color scheme based on your favorite Super Bowl team. For example, if you support the New England Patriots, you could decorate in red, white and blue. If your team is the Green Bay Packers, go for yellow and green.

    • 2

Cover the buffet and dining tables with a color coordinated table linen.

    • 3

Wrap silverware settings in napkins in a contrasting color. Place them at each place setting.

    • 4

Hang crepe paper streamers from the ceiling for a colorful, festive look.

    • 5

Position cardboard cutouts from each Super Bowl team on either side of your buffet table.

    • 6

Use either paper or plastic plates and cups in your Super Bowl team colors.

    Menu

    • 7

Make a large casserole of baked eggs, veggies and ham strata. This simple dish can be made the day before and is perfect for a large crowd.

    • 8

Bake up some fruit muffins two days before the big game to save you time. Store them in an airtight container until ready to serve.

    • 9

Offer your guests a fresh fruit salad. Use colorful fruit, such as kiwi, cantaloupe, pineapple and clementines.

    • 10

Cook a baking sheet of bacon and/or sausage in the oven, rather than in a frying pan, to avoid smoking up your kitchen.

    • 11

Serve a fun NFL brunch cocktail. Make up a fun sports-themed name for a Bloody Mary (Bloody Tom Brady) or a Sea Breeze (Sea Hawk Breeze).
