Step 1
Take your kids to see Santa Claus at the local mall. Be near so you can listen to everything that they tell Santa. Then, be sure to not take your kids to a different mall with another Santa.
-
Step 2
Have your kids write a letter to Santa Claus. Tell your kids that you’ll mail it for them and then read their list.
-
Step 3
Buy whatever presents from your kids’ letters to Santa that you can afford or wish to purchase.
-
Step 4
Have your kids make a separate wish list for Christmas and then have them give those lists to you. Remind your kids to put at least one toy on their Christmas lists that wasn’t on the letter to Santa.
-
Step 5
Wrap the gifts from your kids’ letters to Santa in different wrapping paper than what you’ll use for the gifts from their wish lists. If there is a tag on the present have somebody with handwriting different than yours write “From Santa” on the tags with the Santa wrapping paper.
-
Step 6
Place the presents that aren’t from Santa under your Christmas tree before Christmas Eve night so your kids can see them.
-
Step 7
On Christmas Eve have your kids leave treats for the reindeer and cookies and milk for Santa. Make sure that everything has been eaten before Christmas morning.
-
Step 8
Sneak the presents from Santa under the tree on Christmas Eve night after your children have fallen asleep. When they wake up and see the new presents under the tree they’ll know that Santa was truly there!

on 12/15/2008 My kids were beginning to get skeptical about the existence of Santa last year. A neighbor referred me to a place that allows you to take a picture of your tree or living room, and then put Santa in the picture to show the kids. Needless to say, the childrens reactions were amazing! The website is www.icaughtsanta.com
