Tips & Warnings
As a variation, cut a large heart out of either red or pink construction paper. Cut a slightly smaller heart from a contrasting color and glue it to the larger valentine. Glue a smaller, paper doily heart on top of the smaller heart. Layer as many hearts and doilies as you like.
Cut out hearts from red, white or pink tissue paper for a different, gauzy look.
For a particularly special valentine, try using real lace or rick-rack, available at any fabric store. Simply glue it to the card with craft glue.
Old-fashioned magazine photos make great embellishments. Cut them out and glue them to the front of the Vintage Valentine card with a glue stick.
