- Crafter's Pick Brush Strokes Medium

Step 1
Crumple up the poster and then smooth it back out onto a flat surface big enough to fit the entire poster. This works best with smaller prints.

Combine one part Mod Podge, which is an all-in-one sealer glue that comes in gloss or matte finish that can be purchased at crafts stores or online, to three parts brown acrylic paint into a disposable container or one that you can store the mixture in with a tight fitting lid. Mix well.

Step 3
Use a lint-free cloth to rub the mixture into the cracks and folds of the crumpled poster. Wipe off the excess mixture with the cloth. Allow the poster to dry.

Repeat Step 3 a few times once it is dry until the poster or print looks the way you want it to.

Seal the poster or print with two or three coats of Mod Podge by itself using a sponge brush.

Use Crafter's Pick Brush Strokes, which is a clear medium that dries to a glossy finish that can be purchased at crafts stores or online, to give your poster dimension. Dip a paint brush into Brush Strokes and paint it onto the poster to make the poster look like it has been freshly painted. Use different strokes to make different patterns in different areas of the poster if you like.

Let the poster dry thoroughly.

Repeat the application another time or two to achieve the desired dimension.
