Who doesnt like nailpolish. Its great on nails,not so much on carpet. Espacially when it lands and you step on it and ruin that beautiful polar bear white carpet. Not any more, here are some ways that you can get nailpolish out of your carpet.

    Things You'll Need

    • non acetone-Nailpolish Remover.
    • shaving cream,
    • hair spray,
    • windex,
    • rubbing alcohol,
    • water.
    • Carpet cleaner
    • hydrogen peroxide,

        Way #1-

        Use Non acetone nail polish remover and hot water.
        use the nail polish right on the spot. Always keep the stain wet. Use small circular motions and scrub. Dont push too hard or you may find yourself with a larger spot than you started with.Then put the hot water on it and keep scubbing. This should work.Be causious nail polish remover may take the color out of your carpet.

        Follow the advice in #1 but insteadnused nail polish remover, hydrogen peroxide, carpet cleaner, water and hair spray and it might get it out.

        Use a lot of water, keep the stain wet! Use about 15-20 squirts of hair spray and 3-5 splashes of rubbing alcohol. Scrub gently with a small scrub brush. Blot with paper towels. Repeat as necessary. Don't forget to keep pouring water during the process.

        Windex, nail polish remover, shaving cream, hairspray and lots of water. it might make you sick from the fumes but the key is persistence - continue to scrub and scrub and add stuff and most should come out.

      You should never mix chemicals to try to get a stain out. There is a risk of chemical pneumonia when you mix certain products... not worth it to avoid a spot of stain on a carpet!
