Each year I brainstorm new ideas for making my pumpkins really stand out. This one just happens to be one of my all time favorites!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • pumpkin
  • hand-held drill
  • knife
  • big spoon
  1. Step 1

Using the knife, cut a hole in the BOTTOM of the pumpkin big enough to gut it.

  2. Step 2

Gut the pumpkin using a big spoon and your hands. Make sure to get all the loose strings so your pumpkin doesn't catch on fire when you put a candle in it!

  3. Step 3

Using the drill, drill holes randomly (or in a pattern, whichever you choose :)) around the pumpkin, making sure the holes go completely through to the inside.

  4. Step 4

Once your done drilling holes, you can either put a candle inside or for maximum lighting, string white Christmas lights throughout the pumpkin, putting a white bulb in each hole.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can also experiment by using bigger and smaller drill bits to create different sized holes in your pumpkin.
