    Instructions

    Things You'll Need

    • Towels
    • Twill tape or ribbon (optional)
    1. Martha Steward Method

      • 1

Fold the towel in thirds lengthwise. Now you can hang your towel over a towel rod. Any visible monogram should be centered.

      • 2

Flip the bottom edge of the towel up to the top edge while you keep the folds as precise as possible.

      • 3

Turn the bottom edge of the towel up to the top again and you are done.

      • 4

        Stack towels neatly in closet.

      Military Method

      • 1

Bring the short sides of the towel together while you fold the towel widthwise.

      • 2

Repeat the previous fold by bringing the short ends together. This time, make sure the ends of the towel are facing up (not the folded edge).

      • 3

Pull the left and right sides toward the center to fold the towel in thirds.

      • 4

Flip the folded towel over and it is ready to stack neatly in the closet.
