Brussel sprouts are known as the vegetable that no one likes to eat. They look like small little balls of lettuce and, on their own, they don't taste like much. But follow this recipe for roast brussel sprouts with bacon and your mouth will be watering.
Things You'll Need
- 2 lbs brussel sprouts
- 8 strips bacon
- Olive oil
- Baking sheet
- Non-stick spray
Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees.
Spray the cookie sheet with the non-stick spray.
Slice each brussel sprout in half and place on the baking sheet.
Drizzle a generous amount of olive oil onto the brussel sprouts.
Add salt and pepper to the brussel sprouts. A healthy pinch or grind of each over each section of sprouts is more than enough.

Place the baking sheet in the oven and roast for 25 minutes or until the leaves of the brussel sprouts have begun to brown.
