Instructions

    • 1

Pre heat oven to 375 degrees F. Make the cake mix by following the directions on the back of the box. Once that is finished mix in with cake mix 1 cup of sour cream, 1/2 cup of crisco oil, 1/4 cup of sugar, 1/4 cup of water, and 4 eggs. Beat at high speed for 2 minutes with electric mixer.

    • 2

Pour 2/3 of batter into a 10 inch bundt cake pan. You may grease the pan and flour it before you pour the batter in if you prefer. Mix, in a separate mixing bowl, 1 cup of chopped nuts, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon. This is the filling. Pour the filling mixture onto the batter all ready in the bundt cake pan and pour the rest of the cake batter on top of the filling.

    • 3

Bake at 375 degrees F for 45 to 55 minutes or until cake springs back when touched lightly. Cool for about 25 minutes and remove from bundt pan.

    • 4

For the glaze - Mix together is measuring cup (will make easier to pour onto cake) 1 cup of confectioners sugar and 2 tablespoons of milk. Drizzle over top of cake and serve.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do not press your filling mixture into the batter when putting it into bundt pan. Just pour it in and it will take care of its self.
