Instructions

    • 1

Use a warm rag to heat the area and draw the pus to the surface before proceeding.

Wash the area with acne medicated soap.

    • 3

Clean your hands well before popping.

    • 4

Press your two pointer fingers down on opposite sides of the zit.

    • 5

Compress the two fingers together toward the zit with a slightly upward motion.

    • 6

Repeat the popping motion until the white pus stops coming from your zit.

    • 7

Cleanse the area where the zit was again and wash your hands as well.

    • 8

Apply an anti-pimple cream to the popped zit.

Tips & Warnings

  • Wash your face twice a day with acne medicated soap and apply pimple cream to all blemishes as they appear to prevent zits from forming.

  • Apply ice to the popped zit to reduce swelling and redness.

  • Popping a zit should only be done if the pus is visible at the surface of the skin. Pressing, scratching or pushing on a blemish will end up irritating the area more and making it last longer.

  • Clean your hands well before popping a zit to prevent getting more dirt and grease in your pores which could lead to even more zits.

  • Do not scrub too hard when you wash your face. This can remove your skin's naturally appearing oils which help protect your skin from drying out and block dirt from entering the pores.
