How to Make a Father's Day Card

Make a Father's Day card that he will remember forever. There is nothing that says "I Love You" like a homemade Father's Day card. Homemade cards are economical, fun and easy. Things You'll Need

• Construction Paper
• Crayons
• Markers
• Scissors
• Glue
• Ribbon
• Hole punch

1. Gather the materials needed to make the card. Basic materials will include different colors of construction paper, crayons, colored pencils, markers, ribbon and glue.

2. Fold a piece of construction paper in half. Write "Happy Father's Day" on the outside of the card. Use different font styles and colors to make the card charming.

3. Decorate the card as desired. Cut out and glue different shapes using the construction paper. Hearts and flowers are some popular shapes. Adjust it to accommodate your father's interests.

4. Write a loving message inside the card. This is where you focus on all the wonderful things your dad has done through out the years.

5. Close the card and punch a hole in the middle of where the card closes on the open side. Run a ribbon though it and tie a bow. This will help the card close and adds a nice finishing touch

• Adding a photograph of your favorite dad memory is a nice touch.

• Write a special bible verse to help personalize that special passage just for him.

• Supervise children at all times when they are using any small or sharp items as they make the card.
