Having a lingerie party is a blast. 5. Peruse the classified ads of your local free weekly paper. Check the "Business Opportunities" section. Lingerie consultants who are looking for hostesses for their parties often advertise here.

Plus, pay very careful attention to the consultant's personality and mannerisms while you talk. It is important for you to work with someone you are comfortable with. Advantages:
* Having a lingerie consultant, will take some of the pressure off of the hostess the first time she organizes a lingerie party.

* The consultant will bring lingerie with her.

* The consultant will be 'entertainment' for the party

Disadvantages:
* The consultants reason to be at the party is to sell lingerie. Depending on the consultant, the party guests may feel like they are being pressured to buy, buy, buy.

* Instead of being a fun experience, the party maybe a disaster.

An alternative is to do it yourself. There are plenty of websites with information about lingerie parties around, here are two:
