Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Vacuum
  • Cotton rag
  • Water
  • Moist baby wipes
  1. Step 1

Vacuum the stained carpet area one setting lower than the usual setting. Depending upon how much is stained, vacuuming may remove all of the chalk stain.

  2. Step 2

Wipe the chalked area well with a moist baby wipe.

  3. Step 3

Wipe the area again with a damp cotton rag.

  4. Step 4

Repeat steps two and three until the stain is gone.

  5. Step 5

Allow it to dry before stepping on that area of the carpet. When wet and walked upon, the dirt will rise to the carpet's surface.
