Color for the season. One popular way of choosing the color for your wedding is to base your choice on the season. In the spring you can use pastels. In the fall, try using deep reds. In the summer, use bright, vibrant colors.

Create symbolism through your colors. Every color represents a feeling or a mood. You can choose the color for your wedding based on the mood you want to express. For example, red is full of energy, blue is relaxing, green is comforting and yellow makes people happy.
