Tips & Warnings
If you and your spouse are between 18 and 21, you will need a birth certificate to prove your age and identity. Over the age of 21? A driver's license will do.
Like a few other states, Arkansas offers a covenant marriage option. A covenant marriage does not allow you to obtain a no-fault divorce.
The marriage license is good for 60 days.
If the marriage license is not returned within 60 days of date of issue, you can be fined up to $100. This applies whether you use the license or not.
