How to Make Peach Granita
This peach granita is a little different from most granita recipes because it uses a firmer-fleshed fruit. Still, it makes an enticing summer ice, especially if you have very ripe, soft peaches on hand. This recipe makes about 3 c. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 1/2 c. cubed fresh peaches (see Product Tips for directions)
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
- Groceries

1

-

Tips & Warnings
Because this granita uses a relatively firm fruit with a high fiber content, the texture won't be quite like the granular sno-cone texture of most granitas, which are usually made from clear juice. If not completely frozen, though, this granita will have a softer, smoother feel.
