- Baseball Caps/hats
- Calculators
- Measuring Tapes
- Calculators

Step 1
Place a flexible tape measure around the circumference of your head, 1 inch above your eyebrows and around the widest part of your head.

Step 2
Measure the circumference at least twice to be sure that you are getting an accurate measurement.

Step 3
Record the measurement in inches and/or centimeters.

Step 4
Use a hat-sizing conversion chart to determine your exact size. These are available at hat stores, or at www.qualityhats.com/stetson1.htm.

Step 5
Ask the hat salesperson to confirm that your head measurement and estimated hat size are correct.
