In traditional Irish Celtic weddings, brides typically wore wreaths of wildflowers in their hair. This ring of flowers symbolized much the same as the wedding ring: matrimony, friendship and eternity.   • Green floral wire
  • Green floral tape
  • Big and small wildflowers

Instructions

      Determine the length of wire you will need. Your wreath should sit just above your ears and be fairly snug. When you have determined the length, add 2 inches and cut.

      Bend the wire into a circle and twist the two ends together. The twisted portion should be about half an inch long.

      Cut the stems of a big flower to about 3 inches. Wrap it around the wire and secure with floral tape. The flower should be facing the outside of the ring of wire.

      Repeat Step 4 all the way around the wreath. For a more lush wreath, attach the flowers directly next to one another, overlapping the stems and tape when necessary. For a more delicate look, space them out a bit.

      Between the big flowers, attach the smaller buds in the same manner.
