Instructions

    • 1

Wrap the elastic around your body above your bust until it feels comfortable. Cut the elastic to that length.

    • 2

Lay the T-shirt flat on the surface and cut horizontally across the width to form the body of your dress. Discard the neckline and the sleeves.

    • 3

Turn the T-shirt inside out to pin the elastic flush with the unfinished edge, which is the top of your dress. Stretch the elastic gently to ensure it trims the entire edge.

    • 4

Fold the edge of the shirt over to cover the elastic, approximately 1-1/2 inches.

    • 5

Lay the shirt flat on an ironing board to fuse the elastic to the shirt, removing the pins as you iron.

Tips & Warnings

  • Wash your dress before wearing.

  • For added length, fuse ribbon or fringe to the hemline.
