1
Locate flat, round baskets with low sides to serve as the basin to hold your table center. You can paint the basket or keep it in its natural shade. In a pinch, something like a pie tin also works for a basin. If you end up using a tin, glue ribbon to the sides to camouflage it and make it more decorative.

2
Fill the basket or tin with blue marbles to serve as water for your ark. In recreating a small scene from this popular Bible story, include as many elements as possible, such as the sea the ark would have traveled on and fish crackers as the ocean's sea life. In substitution for marbles, you can also use small blue Christmas ornaments or even blue candies your guests can munch on during the party.

Shop at a local toy store for ships that resemble arks. Pick up some brown spray paint and paint the ship one solid color. If you'd rather save the money on buying anything new, cut a simple ark out of cardboard and spray paint it brown instead. You can get more elaborate and add a few circle cut outs for windows or just leave it simple. Guests will enjoy the creativity either way.

Obtain pairs of small stuffed animals to place in your ark. Noah's ship was stocked with duos of every kind of creature on earth. Your table center won't have room to represent all of these animals, but you can choose a few cute pairs, such as bunnies or kittens or exotic animals like giraffes or elephants. Include as many as your budget allows and your ark can hold. For an added touch, include a little figurine to represent Noah as well.
