How to Do a Crochet Daisy Stitch

Daisy stitch is a puffy crochet design more commonly known as star stitch. Use this stitch when you want to add texture to the surface of a crocheted sweater, ornament or towel. The daisy stitch requires an odd number of links in your base chain. When completed, it looks similar to a knitted bobble with points coming out around the center. The shape resembles a star or a daisy with its cluster of long, thin petals.

    • 8

Pull a wrap through each of the next three chain stitches.
