on 6/30/2006 People tell me this is the best margarita they've ever had. I've been making them for about 5 years this way. Give it a try and enjoy. Makes for one very happy customer.
In a Martini Shaker (with ice), combine:
3 ounces Sweet & Sour
2 ounces good Tequila (Price is not the determining factor, as using something like Patron is wasted; I prefer Cazadores or Sauza)
1 ounce Triple Sec
1 ounce Lime Juice
Shake 5-6 times, and pour (with ice cubes) into salted (or unsalted I suppose) Margarita glass. If you can see you've made too much, remove some of the ice cubes (not the alcohol). Garnish with 1 shot of Grand Marnier floated in the center (it will mix a little bit, don't worry). Serve immediately.

on 11/22/2005 In addition to the tequila, Triple Sec and lime juice, add a shot of Sweet & Sour. Whir on high until your blender reaches the highest "pitch." Blend for another 30 seconds to make a perfect frozen margarita!

on 11/22/2005 Use GOOD tequila (try Patron, Porfidio or Don Pedro). Use Cointreau instead of Triple Sec.
Variation (serves 2): 3 oz. Tequila, 2 oz. Cointreau, 1 oz. brandy, juice of 1 lime, 3 oz. tart lemonade. Shake well with ice. Strain and serve w/ lime wedge.
